About HTSC

HISTORY

For nearly 200 years*, Christians have been worshiping God on this major gateway site for North London - over 70,000 people pass our church site daily! In recent years, a faithful congregation has maintained a rhythm of prayer and worship and when an occasion for new leadership arose, that congregation resolved to investigate a church plant to help enter the next phase of church life.

In October, a 60-person group led by the new Priest-in-Charge Rev. Andy Keighley & Sue Keighley and the Pastoral Assistant, Graham Singh, joined Holy Trinity Church from Holy Trinity Brompton. A new service was started called Red Sky, meeting at 530pm on Sundays.   By permission of the Bishop of Edmonton and the church council, Holy Trinity Hampstead was renamed Holy Trinity Swiss Cottage (HTSC).

VISION

HTSC’s vision is for the re-evangelisation of North Central London & the world, and for the transformation of society.

Within this renewed broader vision, we pray for the Holy Spirit to enable a M.O.V.I.N.G. church in our part of London:

M odern (Proclaiming the Gospel afresh to each generation)

O pen (To everyone, whether churched, un-churched or de-churched)

V isible (Our church site and our ministry)

I ntimate (Fostering relationships with each other and God)

N eeds (Meeting community and church needs)

G lory (Giving Glory to God in all we do)

Our prayer is that all would feel welcome at HTSC and that we would continue to grow and be able to minister to this wonderful part of North London.
