woken up in middle of night with urge to write last minute addition to Christmas list- digital metal detector to play latest sounds of precious metals alert whilst walking dog on H/Heath. bound to come across lost jewelry of late night summer Heath revellers/cuddlers.
Sue and AK self have seasonal infection bringing on temporary (hopefully) insanity; causes trip to Oxford Street on busiest Saturday afternoon of the season. become two of biggest hoard of wilderbeast drinking at vast shopping waterhole under starry LED sky. cracker explosion of shops strewn for miles to see.
lovely Phil and Clare back on visit to blighty from Malawi. also decide to hit W1 though on "calm" Monday. comment "the amount of choice was so huge, almost overwhelming".

dont mean to be killjoy, but keep getting Christmas mailings from people with nothing to find, nothing to choose; moving appeal from Mission Without Borders (www.mwbuk.org) take Christmas love boxes of food to people in poorest of Eastern Europe countries.
meanwhile government reps from all the countries trying to dig up solution to climate changes. a whole host of conflicting interests each trying to find what they think their country needs.
